How much Money can make from a Blog?
Blogging can be a lucrative career, particularly for those who attract a large audience. Since this career path can be nontraditional, though, there are many people who still wonder if it’s possible to earn a living from blogging and how much bloggers typically earn. Learning more about a typical blogging salary can help you determine if it’s the right career for you.
What is a blog?
A blog or “web log” is a web page for content that you regularly add to and update. Unlike other publications and articles, blogs tend to take on a more personal tone that helps them connect more deeply with their audiences.
People start blogs for all kinds of reasons, including:
- Sharing their opinions, passions, or glimpses into their lives.
- Teaching others what they know
- Building an email list.
- Developing their personal brand as an expert.
- Selling products or services.
- A combination of any or all of the above. For these reasons, blogging can be incredibly fulfilling—especially when complete strangers start consuming your content—but it’s also a commitment.
How much do bloggers earn per post?
The amount that a blogger earns per post depends on the blog and the type of post. Some bloggers earn an enormous amount of money from a single post, simply because of a lucrative sponsorship or effective advertising. Some posts may not generate much revenue on their own, but they can help build a blogger’s reputation with their audience and improve their potential for future earnings.
How do you make money blogging?
The way that you make money as a blogger can depend on the type of blog you operate. For example, you can advertise through keywords, affiliate marketing, or by selling your own digital products or programs. Occasionally, brands pay bloggers to write posts about them or their products or mention them in a blog. If you establish yourself as an expert in your area of expertise, you may earn money by consulting with brands or coaching individual members of your audience. You may even speak at conferences or write for other blogs.
One of the most important ways to earn money as a blogger is to think about how you can provide value for your readers, such as advertising quality products or offering paid sessions in which you mentor them in your area of expertise. Some bloggers work as freelancers who provide content for other blogs, clients, or brands, rather than hosting their own blogs. Additionally, some bloggers can pursue full-time employment running a blog for a company or organization.

Many of the successful full-time bloggers that I know are able to make over $200,000 per year and work about 10-30 hours per week. As I mentioned earlier, I’ve posted my income report where I made over $400,000 with my blogging side hustle.
You can realistically make $25,000-$50,000 your first year blogging, $100,000+ your second year, $250,000+ your third year of blogging, and $500,000+ in your fourth year.
The amount of money you can make from a blog depends on various factors such as the niche of your blog, the traffic it generates, and the monetization methods you choose. Here are some details on each factor:
- Niche: The niche of your blog plays a significant role in determining how much money you can make. Some niches, such as finance, health, and technology, are more profitable than others, such as personal blogs. This is because advertisers are willing to pay more to advertise their products or services in high-paying niches.
- Traffic: The more traffic your blog generates, the more money you can make. This is because you can monetize your blog in various ways, such as displaying ads or selling products or services, and the more people that visit your site, the more revenue you can generate.
- Monetization methods: There are various ways to monetize a blog, such as displaying ads, affiliate marketing, selling products or services, sponsored posts, and more. Each monetization method has its own earning potential, and the more methods you use, the more money you can make.
